Sermon Outline:

Last’s Week:
1. Assurance of salvation is the goal
2. Same God saves with the same gospel.
3. Same God with the same gospel results in the same salvation.

Today, continuing with point #3:

3. Same God with the same gospel results in the same salvation.

a. We will not be put to shame. v.11

  • Isa 54:4 – 4 “Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. 5 For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called.

b. He will bestow riches on Jews and Gentiles alike . v.12

  • Eph. 2:17-19 – 17 And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
  • Rom 9:23 – 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory—
  • 2 Cor 8:9 – 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.
  • Eph. 3:16-19 – 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God
  • Rev 3:18 – 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.

c. Everyone who call on His name will be saved

  • 2 timothy 1:12  – “I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that Day what has been entrusted to me.”
