Joseph Jun

Elder Joe labors for the church as a lay elder. He began his career in law enforcement after graduating from Cal State Long Beach. While he committed his life to Christ in sixth grade at a retreat, he says it was later in college that he really grew in understanding the depth of the gospel.

Elder Joe serves the church by leading the Worship and Finance ministries, as well as pitching in behind the scenes in many ways. He is married to Loro and they have been blessed with four boys: CJ, Corben, Cyrus and Chilion.

Favorite verse: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” –Galatians 2:20

Favorite quote: “If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.” –Charles Spurgeon
